It's my pleasure to introduce you to 'Plantation's Beat Tape'.

I’d like to describe it at first as the result of a lot of work, a lot of study, a lot of late-night attempts. And, most importantly, a lot of fun.
You try some things, you try some others, and then you put the pieces together that you like the most.

The result to me had to be something fresh, something you’d chill to at whatever time of the day, but which could also make you move and groove, too.
It’s been about focusing on what has really moved me musically throughout the last months - the drums, the percussions, the southern american and mellow piano and strings lines - and about looking at some of the genres that mostly excited me in the past - bossa nova, jazz, southern american soul music, caribbean grooves...
And it’s obviously also a lot about hip hop, you know, as a culture, as a way of living and of approaching things in live, and a way of seeing and making music.
